Two ways, one that matters

- Open Safari and search what is my IP. The address and the provider should be new.
- Open an app that was blocked on your network. It should load.

- Put the phone to sleep and wake it. The badge should still be there, or return with one tap.
The errors people hit
- Nothing happens on import: only part of the line was copied. Copy it again from the first character.
- It connects but pages do not load: set the date and time to automatic, then try another location.
- The prompt never appeared: you may have denied it earlier. Remove the VPN entry in Settings and import again.
- It works on Wi-Fi but not on cellular: turn the connection off and on once after switching networks.
- The tunnel drops overnight: that is iOS saving power. Turn on the client's on demand option.
How to setup a VPN in iPhone for the whole family
