Before you start
Check one thing: the macOS version, under About This Mac. Anything from the last few years is fine, on Apple silicon or Intel. In order
Install V2Box from the App Store. If you prefer Hiddify, download the macOS disk image from its releases page and drag it to Applications.
Message @valideo_bot in Telegram. Ask for the five free days.
Select the whole vless:// line and copy it.
In the app choose the import from clipboard option. A new profile appears.
Press connect and answer the prompts described below.

What macOS will ask you
First question: the app would like to add VPN configurations. Click Allow and type your login password. That is macOS making sure a person, and not a script, approved a change to networking. It will not ask again. Second question, for Hiddify only: the app was downloaded from the internet, are you sure. That is Gatekeeper. Click Open. If it refuses outright, go to System Settings, Privacy and Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. Do that only for a file you took from the project's own page.
