Six locations on one key
Pick the nearest for speed. Pick a country when the region matters.
- New York (US East): the default for the East Coast
- Dallas (US Central): the middle of the country and a good all round choice
- Seattle (US West): the Pacific coast and the Northwest
- Montreal (Canada): Canadian services and a close option for the northern states
- Amsterdam (Netherlands): Europe, and a solid route while travelling there
- Singapore: Southeast Asia and a first try from most of Asia
How to choose
Distance is the main difference between locations, because every extra mile adds delay. For everyday browsing pick the closest city. Pick a specific country only when a service needs to see you there, for example a US location to use your home subscriptions while you travel.
Why only six
Long lists of countries are mostly virtual locations that few people use. Six real ones cover what our customers connect for. If one is slow for you, tell the bot. Load per location is the one number we do watch.
We do not publish speed figures, because speed depends on your own line. Use the five free days to measure it where you live.
